Welcome...

The Casket Arts Community is comprised of three beautifully renovated old factory buildings in Northeast Minneapolis, plus the NE Sculpture Gallery and outdoor sculpture park. The three historic structures – the Casket Arts Building, the Carriage House, and the Factory – had been the Northwestern Casket Company from 1882 until converted to art studios in 2006.  Over 150 artists and art-based businesses inhabit the Casket Arts Community. Most of the tenants run full-time working studios and open their work spaces for building events and by appointment.

Art A Whirl Is Virtual!

The Casket Arts Campus is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19. Visitors may engage with artists and learn about their work by visiting the Casket Arts Directory.

Patrons that wish to visit studios or galleries must make an appointment with individual artists by visiting their website prior to your visit. Artists and businesses will continue to set their own hours and availability. Check out new and exciting postings each week by visiting Instagram: #casketarts

We have stepped up our janitorial duties in the public areas of the building to make a safe environment. We ask that visitors to the building follow MN State regulations regarding COVID-19 management. Masks are required throughout the campus.
